For teachers, there is often a delay of years before those that they are helping realize what a great job their teachers have takes a lot of energy to be a teacher; it takes a special person to be a great teacher. Being a special education teacher is a privilege. I am happy to say I get to be part of an amazing group of professionals that are dedicated to learning and growing as teachers.
