God's Promises for Today's Believer includes hundreds of Scriptures arranged by topic so that you can easily find God’s promises for earthly blessing, emotional healing, strength for tough times, and so much more. The book of Revelation describes how we will ultimately reap what we have sown, bringing on ourselves unimaginable human suffering before God intervenes. The name of the book, Revelation, is a translation of the title in the original New Testament Greek, Apocalypsis —the origin of the other name by which the book is now known, the Apocalypse. Anthony Gottlieb recommends the best books on God. He notes that belief in God declines in society when economic development brings existential security. but I think that if you’re interested in the relation between religion and secularism today, this book is essential. However, over the next years, we may see a rise in believers. The faith of those who returned, their failure, their work, their 'ups and downs' all speak volumes to the believer today. In fact, Linda’s gentle encouragements to daily worship experiences led to me a spiritual revival in my own life, and this book spring-boarded me into writing my first traditionally-published book.   Before we can apply the truth in 1 Sam we must know how the original audience understood it, and that means determining the overall purpose of 1 Samuel as a book. Without going into a detailed exegesis of 1 Sam let’s just say it’s not about defeating the giants in your life with faith.   The same sense of urgency exists today. We too suffer from war, lack of community, and spiritual depravity. Our study of the book will help us understand the pressing needs of a previous generation and answer the cry of our own. Understanding how God equipped ancient believers, we will understand how God can outfit us.

God's words matter and the book "God Reminders" is filled with promises and truths He gave to us to live by. During current societal and world changes, believers face many obstacles and challenges as we guard the faith. In the book, "God Reminders" you will be reminded that God is in control and Pages:   Even as new covenant believers, we can use the themes in this Old Testament book to teach us how to live and lead for Christ. As 2 Timothy states, “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every. 4. Leaders Rise and Fall, but God's Faithfulness Endures. The book of Judges shows that even the most heroic of leaders can fall and lead others astray. Gideon was told by an angel that the Lord was with him, and that he was a mighty warrior. After God gave him victory with intentionally insufficient resources, Gideon’s legacy concludes with : Chara Donahue.   His book provides a thoughtful and nuanced correction, emphasizing that as Christians we are first of all children of God, which entails a kind of ‘playful’ relationship.
